Press Release - (June 14, 2025) Rotana:
With two major concerts in Riyadh and the Eastern Province, held under the sponsorship of the General Entertainment Authority and organized and supervised by the Rotana Music Group, "The Voice of Egypt" Angham concluded this year's Eid al-Adha concerts, it was truly a tribute to the lyrics of her song "Hala Khasa Gedan" celebrating Eid and Eidiya for her fans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as she sang: "Mafish bena haga takledia.. Inta el farha eli feya.. Aref el eid we el edeya.. Ina el etnin". Mr. Salem Al Hendi, Chairman and CEO of the Group, praised Angham's two concerts, saying: "God willing, she performed 31 songs in each concert with amazing performance and emotion, and a tremendous energy of love for her audience. She was a master and captivated the hearts of the audience to the point that they remained engaged with her throughout the concert and hummed her songs that she chose from the beginning of her artistic career until now."
As for Angham, she described the Saudi audience that attended her two concerts at the conclusion of Eid al-Adha and the beginning of the summer concerts, saying: "It is a wonderful, extraordinary audience that loves singing and music... its heart is beautiful, and its interactive energy is wonderful."
With these two concerts, which represent the first fruits of a fruitful agreement recently concluded between Rotana and Angham, in the interest of the public, regarding the sponsorship and organization of "The Pyramid of Production and Music Industry Companies" for "The Voice of Egypt" concerts in the region, Angham proved that she is truly a tune from the good old days, telling the stories of generations. Although the time interval between her first concert at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh and her second concert at the Khobar Arena in the Eastern Province was only 24 hours out of a total of 72 hours she spent with Rotana, she appeared to possess a high level of singing skill and a great ability to engage with the audience that filled the two theaters in Riyadh and Khobar with tact, joy, and enthusiasm. She also displayed an intelligent balance between her romantic and dramatic choices in the themes of her songs, even After a long absence from concerts, she performed her famous song "Magabish sirti" live at both concerts, in addition to her masterpieces: (We baalek ALb, Howa inta min, Eih El Akhbar, Khalik Maaha, Oskot Baa, kan Berai, El Oloob Asrar, Makansh Wato, Tegi Nesib, Omri Maak, Hala Khasa Gidan, Asamik El Ketira, Loha Bahta, We Etfadal Norkos, Haleftokom Bel Allah, Anani, Sebak Inta, Ahi Gat, Talat Horof, Sid Wesalak, Akteblak Taahod, Hatmanalo EL Kheir, Ya Retek Fahemni) and others.
At both concerts, Mr. Salem Al Hendi welcomed her, and Mr. Ihab Abu Srea', the Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, attended her first concert in Riyadh. During her meeting with media representatives at both concerts, Angham praised her relationship with Rotana, saying: "Rotana is a respectable company, and I describe it as an artistic company. Everyone in charge, starting with "Abu Fawaz" and all of its staff, respect and appreciate art and artists and prepare for them. The beautiful atmosphere that makes the artist perform his songs with love and joy... In short, we have a long and respectable history of success". Regarding her impressions of the success of the two concerts, she commented, "When I'm on stage, my concern is to sing and see people happy, but after I leave the venue and return to my residence, that's when I start to see people's impressions through what is written and published on social media". A final question about whether she was preparing to release a Khaliji album, she simply said, "Don't believe everything that is written... When I have a new album ready, I will tell you myself about my new work."
