•Analyze the target audience, industry trends, and media consumption behavior to create effective media strategies.
•Collaborate with the Artist Affairs Executive Manager to align media strategies with the overall vision for each artist’s career and objectives.
•Source, negotiate, and purchase media placements across social media platforms.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and media packages with media outlets, platforms, and influencers to achieve optimal exposure for artists.
• Ensure that all media buys stay within budget and deliver the best possible ROI.
•Execute and monitor media campaigns, ensuring ads are running on time and meeting expected goals.
•Work closely with the Artist Affairs Executive Manager and team to ensure media campaigns align with each artist’s unique image, branding, and fan base.
•Coordinate with artists’ teams to ensure timely execution of media buys in line with upcoming projects such as releases, concerts, or other events.
•Keep artists informed and involved in the decision-making process to ensure their satisfaction and alignment with media strategies.
•Stay up-to-date with trends in media platforms.
•Identify new and emerging media platforms or opportunities that would be beneficial for promoting artists and expanding their reach.
•Build strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and platforms within the music and entertainment industry to maximize media opportunities.
•Provide ongoing feedback and performance insights to help refine media strategies for current and future campaigns.
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Media, or a related field.
•Proven experience in media buying, preferably within the music industry, entertainment, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of media platforms.
•Knowledge of the music industry, including trends, media consumption patterns, and promotional opportunities.
•Strong understanding of data analytics and the ability to optimize media strategies based on campaign performance.
•+3 years of experience with media buying for music events, concerts, album launches, and other artist-related promotions.
•Ability to negotiate favorable rates and terms with media outlets and platforms.
• Expertise in purchasing media across multiple media channels.
•Ability to plan, execute, and optimize media campaigns to achieve key performance goals.
•Strong project management skills to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
•Proficiency in using analytics tools(e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Spotify Ads) to measure campaign performance and generate actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with artists, media partners, and internal teams.
•Ability to think creatively and strategically about media placements that enhance artist visibility and engagement.
