Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

•Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.

•Documents financial transactions by entering account information.

•Recommends financial actions by analysing accounting options.

•Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

•Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

•Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

•Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.

•Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.

Secures financial information by completing data base backups.

Job Requirements

•BAdegree in accounting, finance or equivalent.

• CMA,CFA, IFRS or equivalent is an advantage.

• 4+years of experience.

•Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and proceduresy.

•Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.

•Experience with general ledger functions.

•Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

•Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills “English and Arabic”

•Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

•Ability to work with little to no supervision.

•Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
